Scott
Rodriguez, MD

Scott is originally from the North Bay area, but he attended undergrad, graduate school and medical school in California before moving back to the East Coast for residency and fellowship in internal medicine and sports medicine. While on the East Coast, he worked closely with the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers and Team USA Women’s Soccer, providing both game coverage and primary care at their training facilities. In his free time, Scott and his wife enjoy trail running, cooking and taking their son to explore the Bay Area. Scott’s goal is to establish and develop long-term therapeutic relationships with members and help them achieve and sustain wellness.

Van
Nguyen, MPH, DO

Van is a primary care provider who partners with her patients to address their current health concerns. She works with them by emphasizing the benefits of preventive care so they can get, stay and be healthy. Her areas of interest include public health, mental health wellness, women’s health and advocacy work for social justice. When she’s not at work, Van likes to spend time hiking, doing yoga, rock climbing and swimming, as well as spend time with her family, friends and dogs. She is excited to work with Premise Health team members who are aligned with her vision to improve healthcare.

Michael
Wang, FNP

Michael has been a board-certified nurse practitioner since 2019 and worked as a registered nurse for several years before that. He was a hospital triage nurse before entering internal medicine and orthopedic sports medicine as a nurse practitioner. He believes in developing a partnership with members to help guide them along their health and wellness journey through holistic health and lifestyle changes. In his spare time, he likes to play pickleball, basketball and paddling. He represented the United States in dragon boat paddling twice, and almost a third time before the pandemic ceased all competition.

Elizabeth
Schy, MPH, BSN

Elizabeth is a native Californian but has lived all over, including in the Caribbean and on a sailboat. She has over 20 years of experience in worksite wellness, health coaching and patient education, specializing in lifestyle medicine and physical therapy education. In addition to her nursing and public health degrees, she is a certified Lifestyle Medicine Diplomate through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, having mastered the science of preventing, treating and reversing chronic disease. Previously, she was Director of Worksite Implementation at Blue Zones, Product Manager of Condition Management at Premise Health and Wellness Manager at Premise Health & Humana. In her spare time, she enjoys rowing, cooking, baking and sharing what she has made.

Chiropractor

Ryan
Deubel, DC

Ryan believes in using all appropriate methods to help patients achieve short-term and long-term health and wellness goals. He has experience with myofascial therapy, flexion-distraction, adjusting techniques, taping, strengthening and rehabilitation. He is committed to empowering patients to improve their health through exercise, proper nutrition, quality sleep and overall mental well-being. Ryan enjoys running, cycling, hiking and camping in his free time. He also likes to read, travel, eat good food and volunteer his time to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest Food Bank and Hakone Estate and Gardens.

Randall
Toal, DC

Randall is board-certified as a chiropractic sports practitioner by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians and takes a non-invasive approach to managing musculoskeletal conditions. His goal is to get the areas of the body that move less to move more. Relieving pain, improving mobility and enhancing Googlers’ overall quality of life is rewarding. To keep himself healthy, Randall does intermittent fasting, weight training and high-intensity interval training. In his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling with his family, taking his daughter to the park and playing golf with friends.

Jessica
Grubaugh, DPT, PT, OCS

Jessica is a physical therapist and a certified orthopedic specialist. Her mission is to empower her clients to help them achieve their goals and unlock their potential. Driven by her clients’ needs and inspired by their success, she supports their wellbeing with evidence-based treatment strategies that take them to the next level of their healing journey. She has extensive experience performing run analyses, leading injury prevention workshops and teaching circuit training classes. On the weekends, she can be spotted running, cycling, snowboarding and snuggling her cat, Tiko.
